Loved the views. The rooms are sound proof and quite spacious. The rooms may of been a bit run down as in age but they are clean, presentable, functional and affordable with washing machine, microwave. The owners/manger's are pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The location of these apartments are also suited for children and those whom have knee problems or can't walk too much as the apartments is not as steep as many others in Airlie's. all reviews » Debbie and Ian were so helpful and friendly, we arrived very late on our first night because of the bad weather and Ian rang ahead and made arrangements so we would be able to get into the apartment whatever time we arrived. The apartment was massive and comfortable, very clean and with a nice water view of Port of Airlie. Would recommend to anyone and we'll be back one day for sure!. Ian and Debbie made us feel very welcome, apartment size was great for us and our 2 year old. Location was perfect, close to beach, shops etc. No complaints really but would've been handy to have a dryer in the room as it rained during our stay. If the weather had of been sunny I probably wouldn't have even noticed. The staff are fantastic and go the extra mile to help you out. All the basics are supplied, there is a pool and the centre of town is 2 min walking and the lagoons are not much further onwards. Perfect location! Would go back. Proximity to the water, the shops and Able Point Marina. The decent size balcony with a roof. The casual and helpful approach of the owners and arrangements for entry. Plenty of kitchen space and all cooking utensils supplied. If you like older style, high ceilings, complete privacy - this IS the place for you. If you don't like this, take your money and buy an expensive, smaller, less comfortable place in the many modern places nearby. Friendly staff/owner. Spacious apartment,very clean in a good location convenient to shops. Decor is a bit dated but as we were out all day it wasn't an issue. There is a pool and it is good value for a family. We would wholeheartedly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Airlie Beach. Great location, great apartments and Ian really thought about each visitor resulting in a great stay!. Loved how close we were to town. Everything was litteraly just down the road. No need for taxis or walking up/down bug steep hills. Great value for money. Would defiantly stay again. Very close to restrants and clubs great place to stay if going to party in Airlie. very big apartment, cool position next to everything but not noisy. I can not stipulate anything negative that my family and I didn't like as this was within our budget and was well worth the money with the age of the apartments. Nothing. The TV was hard to get manage. No Pay TV for the kids. Very noisy due to location. It was a very old/dated room and cooking facilities. The unit was in serious need of some money spent on it. It needed refurishing. Because it is a block of only seven apps there is no regular reception.they however we're always available thro telephone link and always most helpfull. Wifi would be useful. Old and needs a makeover.
