This unit is in a prime location for all local attractions. 270 degree views of the pristine Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands. Friendly cockatoo's visit each afternoon while you drink champagne on the balcony and watch the sun set. The spa and pool offer an alternative to the balcony in case the weather is a little steamy. The layout of the apartments were great. I have two young children, however they did not travel with us here. I would definitely return with my family as the size of the apartment was perfect for us. Neat, clean with wonderful views. Definitely worth the money.
all reviews » We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room had the Jacuzzi on the balcony which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. Even though it was on a very steep hill we were still nice and close to the town to walk down. Very quiet complex. Close to the shops/main street with a bit of a hill and stairs so I understand some may not like that but it leads to a lovely view. Lots of air-conditioning. Cable tv and dvd player were good. views were amazing, apartment size ideal for the size of our family, pools very good, helpful and obliging manager. locality to town and beach, would go again and recommend to others. The size of the two Bedroom apartment was wonderful it had everything we needed and more. The location is great just a couple of minutes walk to the main street and beach. Handy to town. All facilities were in excellent conditions. No other needs other than those supplied. Staff were great. Clean and well appointed. Fantastic view from our apartment overlooking the whole harbour. Good location close to centre of town and easy to access whitsundays. The apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked. Frendly staff at front counter. The Location. The view. Be prepared for some exercise if you are walking into town the hill is very steep and even the youngsters complained! However, if you are feeling lazy the cab fare is $3! No we didn't do that - but we know someone who did. Car space sizes were a little small. But manageable with care. We loved that the hotel had parking but the garages were awkward and we were lucky we brought our smaller car. We had to pay a bond on the room which was fine but there was no notice prior to arrival that that was going to happen. Three bedroom unit (i.e. for six people) with only one tv and five couch spots. would have liked queen bed instead of twin beds in third bedroom, steep decent to end street hard going on knees!. The hill it was a killer!!! The fact that Reception is not manned and you have to phone the mobile and wait for someone to come to the office. Location was up a steep hill; not suitable for infirm, unfit or elderly. Although lock-up parking was provided some of the garages could be a parking challenge for people with larger cars. Wifi not free and poor quality. management asking us to clean before we even moved in, bit noisey. Not serviced could use change of Towels when staying 2 or more days no pool towels provided. Located on a steep hill - not so good for oldies if walking. Luckily we took the car everywhere. The bed was quite small - I requested a king but it was smaller. Bed was little hard for our liking. having to climb the big hill, or else getting a taxi was ok. being charged $250 bond upon arrival. Poor cable tv reception and had issue with airconditioning. Staff were helpful. Having to pay a $250 deposit on arrival which we were not aware of in advance. Also being given a list of rules and regulations at check in, did not make us feel too welcome. We ate out each night as a result as didn't want to spend the final day cleaning the apartment. The pool area was slightly disappointing,needed a clean/revamp. Rooms had significant white ant damage that had not been repaired. Handrail on stairs was very loose and flimsy. Car park was major issuee getting small vehicle into area. The staff were rude and after calling prior to our stay to check they were happy for people to come over for a party, they called us at midnight and told us to end the party. The rude manager , I informed him of an ant problem in the unit and he blamed me for it. There is plenty of beautiful places in airlie to stay with nice managers. We won't be back.
