I liked everything about this hotel! I stayed here for about a week. I have been travelling for 6 months now and this is the best one I have found - comfortable, peaceful, decent sized rooms, great location (San Telmo - short walk to Plaza Dorrego, next to a metro stop). Breakfast is nice! They bake cakes every day! And most of all THE STAFF are so lovely, from the housekeepers, to the receptionists, to the owner, who is always around and seems to really want people to feel comfortable and welc.

Functional WiFi and perfect location just few steps from the main square and Metro station. Extra: safes in the room, possibility of BBQ on the roof of the hostel. Plenty of bus routes nearby and loads of restaurants and bars a short walk away. The staff were great who were fantastic in helping us to organise a Tango show visit. Breakfast was great and the rooms were very large and clean. This is more like a hotel than a hostel. Excellent value for money and I would stay here again. Nice little hotel in the center of San Telmo. Clean and safe, 5 minutes walk to subway station and 20-25 minutes walk to Center. Friendly and helpful hotel personnel. Delicious breakfast with croissants, cakes coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Safety box in each room and even bathrobs. Guests of this hotel are mostly matures adults ( late 20 and up). The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were more like friends to me. all. Wery good people on reception, many times help me. I didn't have a private bathroom as advertised in my booking. Not a big deal as it wasn't busy when I needed the bathroom. The area at first glance appears to be not a very nice area but I would advise everyone that I felt perfectly safe throughout my stay even alone late at night. Noise from outside and adjasent room (but I got used to it in few days). Breakfast was good and buffet like, but it could just include some more fruits, ham/cheese, instead of pastery variety. No elevator to the 2nd floor. Breakfast - contained all sweet things, i.e. rolls, cake, cereal Yogurt very runny. Payment - if making payment by credit card, they charged 10% extra. San Telmo can be little bit dangerous after dark. Don't walk there alone in night. There was nothing really to complain about.
