  The staff without exception were very good, cheerful and helpful. We had a sea front room with large balcony but the decor was tired and needed up grading. The bathroom needed changing the toilet 1 cm from the door and should be moved to another wall. - I love the fact that we were able to get a ocean view room on short notice.   Was a great hotel to stay at. Was over looking the back of hotel and was spaying in a jacuzzi suite, I called n asked to be changed and they did within minutes. Put us overlooking Collins avenue. Top to bottom z ocean was exactly what a young couple needed. Not crazy kids screaming off balconies, it was romantic and relaxing the entire stay. Would def recommend it again - Doesn't look much from the outside, but we had a penthouse suite with pool terrace which was great. Room spacious, bed & pillows very comfortable. Great staff - particularly the concierge. Late check out not a problem. Front Porch Cafe excellent for breakfast & lunch but less suitable for a special dinner.
