  The Hotel was perfect. Located 10 minutes stroll to York Centre. Hotel itself was of a very high standard. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend eating in the restaurant. It was perfect. - All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Lovely modern feel to a traditional building. Food very good and we thought reasonably priced.   The location was perfect, very central for the city's main attractions, especially the Minster and the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but they kept our bags and put them in the room when it was ready. Our room (Nr 2) was spacious with a very comfortable bed and, if the furniture was not new, it was... τι λέει ο κόσμος » very well maintained. The shower was a good size and there was heating both in the room and in the en-suite bathroom. Even though the reception is no - The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and since the room was ready, they let us go upstairs and freshen up before sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the wall. It was within walking distance to everything and had free parking for our rental car. I can highly recommend Gregorian House.
