Lovely welcome on arrival, very friendly and the cookie was amazing!! Such a nice little touch! We was on the 10th floor and pleasantly surprised with the view of the train station and city. i stayed at the double tree hilton for the easter weekend with my partner. we found this hotel to be fantastic value compared to others in the local area as well as being in a great location. everything was within a 5 mins stroll like bars, restaurants and the new trinity shopping centre. the staff were very friendly and helpful with information of the local area. parking at the hotel was very handy asare rarely found at city centre hotels. the room itself was fresh, modern, and very clean with

We loved every thing about the Hotel the staff were so helpful and friendly. Any thing we needed they got for us eg extra milk and sugar.On arrival they took our car keys and parked it away for the weekend and got it back out on our departure. Wifi connection was free and very fast. although I had to use my own Ethernet cable. Rooms were big a well lit, bright and breezy. Also very quiet. I liked the style and the presentation but there were a lack of mirrors and lighting. They should have placed a mirror in the bathroom in order for women to do their make up. Plus the room smelt of damp which was overpowering and spoilt my stay. An employee stated that they had a flood and was going to change the carpets not only in the rooms but

we have stayed at the heritage center before. The apartment was excellent. Our stay was a little too short and much of the time was spent with our family who live in huddersfield. On arriving a gentleman came over to us and thankfully guided us to the correct entrance doorway and took us up to the apartment. I don't think we would have found it easily as we thought it was accessed via the lift. He replaced a hallway light straight away. We will stay again. (We like room 5 as it has a great view

Very enjoyable time at the Marriot, the service and room were as usual excellent all the staff were very helpfull and did all they could to make our stay a wonderful experience.
The new to us, restaurant "Midtown Grill" was also excellent and the best Steak or Lamb I have had in a long time. - excellent staff
