location, amenities in the room - The hotel has a good position on the sea front and at the time we were there very quiet. We had especially good food, lots of fresh vegetables and the roast beef was some of the best we have ever had. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We liked everything from our reception with a cup of tea & a scone, a delicious dinner which Tracy cooked for us despite it being her evening off, delightful The White House bath accessories, pleasant gardens to wonderful breakfasts. Highly recommended for everyone. Tracy has to be the best hostess.

The whole experience at the Rowhill Grange was very good and relaxing. The hotel has spectacular gardens and the facilities were superb especially the spa and pool. This large B&B has several choices of accommodation, and we stayed
in the cottage at the top of the yard set apart from the other
buildings, which was very romantic. It had the most comfortable bed you
can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast
was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh

Nothing had quite prepared us for the treat in store when we booked this short break. The design, decor and ambience of 'Bleak House' is unique. The owners have succeeded in keeping the sense of history and Victorian atmosphere and combining it with the high standards expected by today's visitors. Every single member of staff was so friendly and welcoming. The service
was faultless insomuch that they could not do enough for you to ensure
our stay was enjoyable. The house is beautifully decorated, fantastic
outlook across the lawns and the bay, clean, comfortable bed, welcoming
glass of sherry, slippers even. It is not surprising that Dickens loved
staying here. We had a very memorable time and would like to thank all
staff concerned. Would definitely recommend.

The location was fantastic, just opposite the Marlowe theatre and around the corner from the High street. Although it is right in the heart of Canterbury, it was very quiet in the room. The decor is very stylish and the bed very big and comfy. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent. A lovely extra touch was the afternoon tea left for us in case we got peckish.

On arrival we were given tea and chocolate biscuits in the breakfast
room by the friendly and gregarious host. The room was comfortable and
well appointed with a beautiful and spacious bathroom. The breakfast on
offer was excellent with fruit yoghurt and granola, warm brioche, superb
scrambled eggs and smoked salmon plus toast and chunky marmalade. It
kept us going all day! Parking in the road opposite was easy and free.
