The breakfast on offer was excellent, well laid out and a delightful dining area. Service excellent too. It was a very quiet hotel.

We were made to feel so welcome, the room was excellent and thebreakfast even better. We had no problem useing our card to pay andfound no problem with parking - I travel a lot for work and chellowdene was one of the best guest houses by far friendly, clean and a great breakfast. i found no problem parking

We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

Our room was very clean and whilst not too large it suited us well enough. Lovely bathroom and shower. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast: yoghurt, fresh fruit, preserves, cereals, toast and cooked. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly return. -

Barbara and Stephen were perfect hosts. Barbara shared her wealth of knowledge about this part of Cornwall. The smugglers has 3 rooms all of which are named after local artists they all have separate entrances and are very clean and comfortable the owners of the restaurant were really friendly and helpful food in the restaurant was excellent we would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking.
