  Having lived in Devon all our lives it was a hotel we had passed many times in the past, wondering what it would be like to stay there. We were not disappointed.   Outstanding. We've just spent 3 nights at this excellent hotel. The owners go out of there way to look after you and make sure you have an enjoyable stay.   I can't praise my stay enough. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast was more than adequate and I would have no reservation in recommending this brilliant B&B - I could fault nothing with regards to Ashurst Lodge, Torquay.
