Beautiful room;very clean and plenty of space. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast! Perfect location; very quite but only a few minutes walk to the city through the museum gardens. Sherry and mince pies at the front door was a lovely touch around Christmas time. Will definitely be booking back here on another visit to York. Excellent!! - We stayed

The room was immaculate and very cosy, only a short walk away from the city centre. Breakfast - delicious. Overall, couldn't have asked for more. We thoroughly recommend it!

Blown away by the plush, stylish apartment. We visited York with my parents & this 2-bedroom apartment suited us much better than two separate hotel rooms, as it provided a social space (kitchen, dining table, sofas and TV)
Incredibly convenient for walking to key places in York; train station, the Shambles, the Minster and, highlight of the trip for my husband, the National Rail Museum.
The lovely Heather at reception is also wonderfully helpful :)

I didn't arrive until 11.30 pm because of a delayed journey from London, however the person on duty was very helpful. I requested an iron and iroing board at 7.30 am the nextmorning which was brought immediately. It was nicely situated in a very quiet part of walk and just a 5 minuet walk away from the city walls, the holme lea manor was very clean and tidy staff wre excellent very freindly. The owners of the hotel were first class in all departments. I would stay again without hesitation, as everything fit the bill for my requirements. The city was just a 15 minute walk, the location was quite and peaceful, the cooked breakfast was as good as I have had on my travels. The Livingstone's were very accommodating by assigning us their main floor room. It was a wonderful room and easy to move around in.

The pool was superb, good hearty breakfast(full English), only a 20 min walk into town and a hotel with free parking(unusual for York). Nice standard 2 star hotel which was comfortable with every thing working. Really good restaurant too. Found most guest houses charging the same rate and with this hotel i had alot of facilities to use eg Restauran
