Complimentary tea, coffee and shortbread is provided on arrival. A 24-hour supermarket is also just a short walk away.
With lots of lovely walkways and excellent bus services from outside the apartments, the city is easily accessible and Victoria Park is just opposite. A high chair and cot can be provided in the apartments on request, free of charge.

They provided a 1/2 litre of milk, bread & jam and some single
serve cerial boxes. Private off street parking for 1 vehicle was large
enough for our big American truck. There is a park right across the
street for kids to play! Apartment is also all on one floor with only
one step to enter. They charge you immediately for room when you book,
so be prepared for that.
The apartment was separate from the main house and we could come and go without difficulty.
The owner provided cereal, milk and bread which was unexpected and appreciated.

Modern & cosy, managed to squeeze in six people using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Good location, easy walk to Ocean Terminal - 10 minutes in taxi to City Centre.
Location of the hotel was good. On a bus route with many regular buses into Edinburgh city centre. A taxi into the centre of Edinburgh will cost around 10 or 12 pounds.
The apartment was spacious and quiet, and very well equipped throughout. I would not hesitate to use it again on my next trip to Edinburgh.
Very nice cottage in a quiet area of Edinburgh. Friendly landlady, very detailed instructions on how to find the key, park and so on.
The apartment was neat, tidy, clean and everything was as mentioned. infact better than that. i really enjoyed staying there.

I probably didn't read the instructions as thoroughly as I should, but it took a while to figure out how to open the gate and get into the apartment.
The apartment could be cleaner - the oven was especially dirty.
No milk in fridge or cartons on arrival.
Pots and pans not big enough for 6 persons. Sofa bed not comfortable for adults, though ok for kids/teenagers.

Unfortunately the cleanliness in the bathroom let it down. Probably could do with a really good clean.
Carpets hadn't been hoovered and hair everywhere
Bathroom was surface clean but not exactly pristine.
Secure key unavailabe on arrival.due to faulty secure box. No heating on despite very cold conditions. Majority of radiators luke warm as they needed bleeding. Lack of double glazing and poor fitting of windows - very cold. Oven needed cleaning and some cobwebs in rooms. Plumbing very noisy.
