I was looking for a hotel near to the O2, and the Ramada is excellent for that. Great if you arrive at London city airport. I was made very welcome from the moment I arrived at the hotel. I've just returned from a two night stay at Aloft London Excel where I had a great time. Although this hotel is not in the centre of London, the DLR line (a metro line on the surface) station Prince Regent has direct access to the hotel and the station of Tower Gateway, in the centre of London, is within a trip of 15 minutes. The staff were superb - courteous, helpful and they all seemed to have customer focus as a basic principle. The hotel was clean and value for money. We were greeted at the door by (Monika, I think that was the lady's name), she was helpful and friendly. We were going to the O2 for a concert and she advised us of the bus we needed, the cost involved and the fact that the service ran 24 hours a day. I arrived at the hotel and promptly met by a member of staff offering to take my bags, check-in was really quick and easy, also taking the time out to explain how use the door card in the lift etc, reception arranged for a taxi when I asked to my destination and also arranged for the taxi to be waiting for me when I had finished later on in the eve
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ning, check out was good, overall the experience... - The staff were very friendly, there was a problem with the hotels computer system when we arrived, the hotel manager apoligised for this and took us through to the bar and gave my wife and myself a free drink while we waited for the problem to be fixed, this only took approx 10 mins, he then booked us in and gave us a free update to a suite for the inconvienance.

We have stayed in a number of hotels in Greenwich as we have family there. This was easily the best hotel we have stayed in in that area. The room was large and beautiful. The double was two singlew together but still very comfortable. Separate toilet and bathroom which was useful and very clean. Much better than expected. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Westbridge Hotel if your stay is centered around the Stratford area, or for us at the O2 Arena in Greenwich. There is a DLR station 2 minutes walk from the hotel, which makes London easily accessible! The hotel is really pretty and well decorated! Our room suited our needs perfectly, it was stylish and comfortable with impressive complimentaries. Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). I would happily recommend the hotel to all types of travellers. Couples/group of friends etc.

Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good
bathroom. Quality of breakfast and room service also excellent, and on
top of it all, slam opposite Europe's largest shopping centre, with
almost every central London shop available. Ideal location for both
shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central
line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient
to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.
