We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news papers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one

Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all. I enjoyed the location and the politness of the staff and how quick they were at enabling me to gain access to my accommodation. - Particularly nice, helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Plenty of room in the car park.

Free unlimited access to indoor swimming pool, jacuzi, sauna, gym. Onsite spa and beauty salon. Very friendly staff and one of the best restaurants we've used for a long time - Nice sized rooms, very well decorated, beautiful views, friendly staff, fantastic food, good value for money. Enjoyed a very romantic stay :o)

It was very convenient in terms of its proximity to the airport. Despite being close to a main road, the rooms have double glazing and we didn't hear any noise whatsoever. The family room was big enough for us and also accommodated a cot, and the bathroom was also large and spacious. The staff were very helpful and it was great to be able to have

We used the hotel for an over night stay before catching a flight from
Bristol airport. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
Supplying us with tea and toast at five A.m for an early start. The room
was spacious and spotlessly clean and well equipped . It would make a
perfect airport hotel or for a longer budget stay For visiting Bristol
and surrounding area.

This is our fourth stay at the Mercure Holland House, Bristol. We have always received the best of attention from the staff who are very pleasant to a one. Excellent buffet at breakfast - never seen curried chickpeas and basmati on a breakfast menu before, very very nice indeed. The cook was standing near the buffet and we had an excellent chat about vegetarian foods. The hotel is an excellent hotel overall, and the room was spectacular. The staff were super professional and friendly, and I greatly enjoyed it. The bar and lounge area were a great place to meet colleagues or to just sit and read quietly.

The staff, Becky, and the others were very friendly and helpful. The services provided was very good and clean and maintained. Nicely located in the centre of the city, yet close to the waterside. Room was spacious immaculately clean. The wife and I enjoyed the experience. -

This hotel is a real find and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in
Bristol. The location is excellent and the hotel has a real buzz. We
particularly enjoy the bar area which is great for morning coffee,
afternoon tea or a drink before dinner. Food is always a highlight

The hotel is located City centre with safe parking on site. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were well informed about Bristol to maximise our stay at the Hotel. The evening meal was served in a beautiful restaurant with well trained and attentive staff. Highly recommended. - Excellent food, comfortable room

The room was comfortable and there was a heater which proved very useful during cool, wet weather. After checking out, I was able to leave my bag at the hotel until I needed to the railway station, several hours later. We were going to the Hippodrome and so I had sourced this hotel as being particularly close. I am a single mother with two children and so I had booked a family room, but I never expected it to be as roomy and practical as it was. With three beds, a decent sized bathroom, a tv and coffee facilities all being on a floor which was clearly marked "QUIET ZONE" I was so impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. The hotel validate your parking ticket so it only costs £12.50 /day. The ro

NB. My husband and I stayed with our granddaughters aged 3 and 7)
We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren.
The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,
