We really enjoyed our stay and everything was beyond expectation. Perfect position for seeing everything Madrid has to offer. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff - either well trained or the hotel is very lucky! We will definitely return to Madrid and the Radisson Blu will be our first choice of accommodation. Highly recommended. -

The staff was completely accommodating, friendly, and speedy. The room design was very cool: exposed brick, bunk beds, ultra modern shower, and very quiet. This is a very modern high tech design hotel. Rooms are spotless and bright, Wonderful bathroom layout and shower. Breakfast is all you could ask for with great assortment of fresh fruit, hams, cheeses, eggs, etc. Staff very competent and welcoming. The location was excellent. Retiro Park is across the street, the Prado is 5 blocks away and you can walk to Plaza Mayor in 20 minutes. We stayed in the 3-bedroom appartement, which was extremely nice.
Javier, the owner is extremely helpfull. We could check-in early while the cleaning lady was still busy making up the appartment. Its very big appartement with 3 separate bedrooms and comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms which was very convenient travelling with 6 girls.

Modern, clean, fully equipped. Every service nearby, from Metro toministores. About 3mins walk to a 24hr taxi rank (handy for 5am airporttransfer). - location was near great flamenco and jazz venues. The apartment was well kitted out, had nice decor and was clean.

Great location across street from Retiro park. Room decor was much
better in person than photos showed on the internet. Easy walk to
central shopping,restaurants, and museums. Much better value than other
hotels in this upscale neighborhood. The Ritz and The Palace just around
the corner and are way more expensive -- the rooms at the Savoy Petit

Fantastic hotel, overlooking retiro park. You heard no noise from other people staying in the hotel and the room was fabulous. Even had a laptop provided in the room with free wifi. Friendly staff and if you want to come back to the hotel at 6am they let you in no problem. Great location and a beautiful building, even the tourits on the tour bus took photos of the building! I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

I rarely give top marks on the grounds there should always be room for some improvement but I'm struggling to find any fault with the Catalonia Atocha. Within half an hour of booking I received a "welcome" email from the hotel with detailed and useful information on how to find the hotel whatever the mode of transport, I’ve never had this before from an hotel, it boded well and I was not disappointed.
Without exception the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and equally happy to speak
