  This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell - The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. Staff and owner are very kind, smart people. Bed is very comfortable, claned rooms and bathrooms, which are inside the rooms.

  Room was so clean, sheets fresh and crisp, so quiet, family run hostal, everyone including the parents pleasant and lovely. The two brothers do a marvelous job. Our train back to Barna was not til 530 so they kept our bags after we checked out at 9 am until about 4 when we started for the train. A hidden gem. - - Javier and staff did everything they could to help us, even with particular requests, and volunteered recommendations for us in the city, very friendly - We were given a choice of rooms on arrival - Great location, all of central Madrid was accessible - quiet, pretty street close to plenty of great bars, bakeries and restaurants - Would definitely stay again!

  The location was excellent - within easy walking distance to central Madrid attractions - literally 5 minutes to the Prado. Also close to shops, a laundromat, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the metro. The hosts didn't speak much English but were very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place. However, if you want something comfortable at a great price, go for it.   This place is Perfect for visiting Madrid! The owner - Rufinio, that the man that is very helpful and attintive to your demands. We rented 1 room with large bed and shower for our stay in Madrid. The place is clean and cozy, everything is working in the room (internet, tv, air-con, shower etc.). Location is very close to everything (Museums, shops... τι λέει ο κόσμος » , foods, attractions)! If not the size of room I would say it's a 3 star hotel:) Definitely will be back to that one and of cause recommended! Thank y - The room was great. When we booked, we got a double with a shared toilette. We were surprised when there was a shower and sink in our room just not the toilette. The room was big, clean, and there was a cleaning service everyday. Also the place is very secure, we had a safe in the room and three separate locked doors(the front door of the building, the door into the hostel, then our room door).

  The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. The rooms had a television, phone and plenty of bath linens. Jimmy and his staff were always very helpful. We would recommend Hostal Sardinero to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Madrid. - Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.

  Hostal San Antonio is a very convenient and charming place. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, my room was quite comfortable, cleaned every day and with a cute balcony. I stayed there 5 nights by myself and have nothing to complain about.
