Reception staff were speaking good english, rooms were good size and well/new decoatered. also inetersting design with entry throught the bathroom, likes they had a shower for my husband and a tube that i could use. Good breakfast.
Unfortunatly, we didn't had time to try the spa, i undestood it is very good and prices were reasonable for what i saw

τα κρεβατια ηταν εξαισια και πολυ μαλακα. το δωματιο ομορφο και τομπανιο καλο. ο concierge του ξενοδοχειου anthony ηταν πολυ εξυπηρετικοσκαι ενημερωμενοσ. - beautiful new hotel, the staff was very friendly. the hotel is in the new district from Barcelona but is easy to get around with taxi or metro!! - modern and sophisticated. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, something we have found lacking in our stay at various hotels abroad. The facilities were fantastic, my son and I had a swim and the room had all those little extras that you might have forgotten. The best thing about this hotel though was the staff. We recieved a lovely welcome, they were fluent in a number of languages so our English was no problem. They were fabulous.

The reception waited for us till 3 am because our flight was delayed and
we were given a warm friendly welcome even at that early hour. The room

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!
