The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, something we have found lacking in our stay at various hotels abroad. The room was very clean and comfortable and there were lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. The location was also very good, a few minutes walk from La Ramblas, but not close enough to be bothered by the noise. It wa
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » s also a 10 minute walk to the main bus station. - This was my favorite hotel I stayed at during my trip. The room was beautiful. The facilities were fantastic, my son and I had a swim and the room had all those little extras that you might have forgotten. The best thing about this hotel though was the staff. We recieved a lovely welcome, they were fluent in a number of languages so our English was no problem. They were fabulous.

it was a family holiday trip, had a wonderful time. We spent 5nights with a 7yr and a 4 year old. We booked this place because it had everything we thought we wanted.
From start to finish the Apartment was nice and clean ,receptionist Clara was really friendly, polite and helpful .
Everything was there for us ,felt like home away from home.

These apartments have a lot of space which allowed everyone to have their own rooms.
They were equipped with everything you could need except toothpaste. The bathroom came with towels, shower gel and toilet paper.
It was very easy to find and near kfc, burger king and McDonald's so if you didn't want to cook you had those choices.
A small shop is opposite and is open until late for basic groceries and a larger one is a few minutes away.
The beach is a ten minute bus ride and easy to find.

We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

My friends and I really liked Casa Consell and liked it the most of all
places we stayed during our two week trip thruout Europe. Stewart and
his staff were very helpful and the accomodations were very comfortable.
Our room was also very comfortable for the three of us. The kitchen and
sitting area were great and allowed us to meet other guests. P

We are received with warm welcome to this charming hostel with excellent staffs. Everywhere was really clean and well-organized. Staffs are always for us to help. In our room, we had even patio which enjoyed a lot sitting out. We expected more of the noise from the streets, but it was really quiet. Kitchen facility was also very nice and clean when we cooked one evening and prepared extra things during breakfast as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back!!!

Great place. This is old building with very high ceiling and a lot of air, with beautiful old (18th century original or looking original) style decor on walls and ceiling. The porch has two big stairs and elevator is typical for this old buildings - with manual doors and small metal cage. Old huge doors on entry to the hall and the window is basic

It's rather a budget one, but the location is very good, very
close not only to Plaza Catalunya but also to Parc de la Cuitadella. A
very interesting atmosphere of an old house, with once rather
luxurious wooden decorations, now a little bit aging, but still
alluring. The rooms are small but clean. A word of advice: go for a
"superior room" with the balcony. It's an essential
feature for a beautiful late night session after you have enjoyed full
day in the city.

I have to give full stars to this boutique! My favor to it started since
the e-mail communication. I changed my deluxe double room from no.5 To
no.2. Because No.2 Facing the street, and has a very lovely balcony. The
location is also good, very near to La Rambla and plaza Catalunya. My

This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public
transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and
nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The
king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English
channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please. There
is no front desk nor is there a clear big sign identifying the entry,
you need to call the manager to gain entry. The car-park is in the next

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and spacious. - We did not want the room facing the noisy street so they readily agreed to give us a room at the back. Lots of space.
