The staff were very nice and understanding. They kept my reservation even though my credit card had failed and there wasn't any chance to call my bank as I was in transit from Rome. This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week holiday in Barcelona, Paris and Rome. My family loved the place and wish we had discovered it earlier. Exceptionally clean and neat with modern decor. Loved the pictures at the reception.

We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the
Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic.

Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.

Sometimes you strike gold when it comes to a hotel and this was it! I can't say enough about it to do it justice so I'll stick to the highlights:

As we arrived to the hotel the people were really very helpful and friendly. Actually we had some problems with our airplane about our packages, they really helped us and kept us relaxed with a free breakfast. The staff was super friendly. They make you feel very welcome and give you many advices for your daily schedule if you ask. They provide you with towels for free and you can also change it if you need a new one. The breakfast is not luxury but at least there is a breakfast and for a few days it is totally fine :). The location is perfect for both,

Arco youth hostel was a fantastic place to stay. The manager was
absolutely wonderful and helped us whenever we needed anything - from
maps, restaurant suggestions, anything at all. There were many reviews
that said that the hostel was difficult to find, but we had no problem
finding it at all. It's right off of la Rambla and right around the
corner from Starbucks! Great hostel and I'd recommend it to anyone.
