We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and
it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and
accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. I passed through this
region once before in the summer time on a day trip to go white water
rafting on the River Soca but I was so blown away with the views of Lake

We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. The family that runs this B&B were all extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Mrs. Jana drove us to the airport at 5:30 am for only 3 Euros. The bed was very comfortable and the price very affordable. We took advantage of the complimentary bikes and rode around the outskirts of the village through a patch of forest and some corn fie

Everything. Starting from Jana that came to pick us up and take us back to the airport with a wonderful BMW. She was very nice, polite and willing to fulfill all our needs. The room was far more than expected, spacious enough, very clean and well-equipped. The location of the facility is also perfect: very close to the airport, but also immersed in the green nature that Slovenia offers. We had a great time during our stay and for sure we will be staying there each time we have to visit Slovenia

Simple apartment in a very central location. Nice underground parking and locker at the ski slopes was a big plus. This is definitely a "do-it-yourself" apartment but shops are super convenient and, for a ski holiday, it works well. Friendly staff, convenient location (supermarket, restaurants, pubs all within 50 meters), ski-lifts 200m. Two teles with satellite, clean, warm, spacious for 2 adults, 3 children. Kitchen facilities good.

The manager-lady was very kind and jovial showing us the accommodation that seemed cosy and promising us a restful overnight although the house is situated close to the main road. It turned out that the beds were comfortable, a little kitchenette very useful and the bathrooms rather agreeable. -

Hotel check-in staff were very helpful, spoke good English and were friendly. The hotel was re-opened earlier this summer after major renovations. Our room was very nice: good size, good comfortable bed, good linen, well-appointed; good bathroom and amenities.
Worth paying the extra for views over the lake – we could see castle and had views

Location was good, just a 2 min walk to the lake. No views of it from the room (top floor, room 308) but nice scenery though. The hotel and its rooms have been recently renovated (past 1-2 years). They were nice and had a balcony.
The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a a little small but not an issue at all.
Free parking in the hotel at the back (under cover) or front. There were plenty of spaces available when we went.
Wifi was excellent (11Mbs download) and the upload speed was 14M

The room was very spacious with a large very clean bathroom. The balcony had lovely views of the mountains. The staff were exceptionally helpful and willing to please. Stella was brilliant and had lots of good suggestions about places to visit. We thought the location was amazing and there were lots of easy bike rides to do. we even cycled to Italy for lunch. We had a superb holiday that was truly enhanced by the wonderful accommodation, staff and generous portions of delicious food. Thank you

Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic!
Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake.

Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there.
Room was very spacious and clean.
Parking at the hotel was nearby and free.
Restaurant served good food.
An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.

Great location in a nice village 7 minutes drive from lake bohinj, but
away from the hassle of many tourists. The Apartments are well equipped
with anything you can think of in the kitchen (3 types of coffee

Upon arrival, we had been upgraded to the top floor appartment with wooden ceiling. Everything was nice in this villa, the staff was very kind, our appartment spacious, clean, nicely furnished and had everything in it. The small terrace was cute, and view on the mountains was beautiful. We loved every second. Breakfast was small but fresh, and I have had the best coffee here!
