We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and
it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and
accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. I passed through this
region once before in the summer time on a day trip to go white water
rafting on the River Soca but I was so blown away with the views of Lake

We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. I am a returning guest. I visit the place at least twice a year. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is never crowded. The ammenities are clean and nice. I really like the location of the hotel. - clean rooms, nice staff speaking english and german, nice rooms especially bathroom, good breakfast with fresh fruits and a large selection

Great location in a nice village 7 minutes drive from lake bohinj, but
away from the hassle of many tourists. The Apartments are well equipped
with anything you can think of in the kitchen (3 types of coffee
machines...) Ground floor contains a place with toys for children. -
Everything was perfect. Our hosts were delightful, the views stunning,

This was a little piece of paradise in the middle of Slovenia.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was no problem to check out two hours late on January 1st. - small but very clean room. 5 minutes walk from the lake and bus stop. value for money.

Set in a beautiful location in Bohin. Close to railway station. Ski resort and lake bled are only minutes away in a bus/car. Nice breakfast and pleasant rooms. -
Friendly personel. Large safety box in room. No major things to complain. Reduction when paying by cash

The hostess, Vesna is lovely, friendly, and helpful. The apartment is clean and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, fast wifi, 10 minutes easy walk to the centre and shops. We stayed in the studio and although it's small, we had enough room for everything we needed. Right at the foot of the mountains, wonderful view and close to easy walking/

We visited during autumn. Practically everything "clicked" - this is a no-fuss apartment, everything went smoothly. The whole place oozes quality: stunningly clean bathroom, nice furniture. Kitchen is well equipped - refrigerator, utensils. The owners are nice, paying attention all the time from the neighboorhood, but not at all obtrusive. For this money this is a real bargain!

Beautiful stay in the midlle of mountains and deep nature in national park - Very quiet and peaceful, lovely surounding. Friendly manager who can tell you a lot about tours you can make. By foot, bike or car, it does not matter, he knows a lot. He give you realy the feeling your a king.

My wife and I spent part of our travels across Slovenia here. The staff was wonderfull, such nice people! Facility is primarily a biathlon training ground and great for hiking. We saw a lot of people coming to search for mushrooms. Bohinj and Bled lakes are about 30min drive each from Pokljuka. Rooms were nice and tidy, breakfast was good. All in

The area the hotel is in is beautiful and great for walks/hikes or mountain biking. The hotel itself is modern and well furnished and the staff speaks excellent English. Furthermore, if you're into biathlon, this is the place to go!

Very new, very clean apartment. We had an extra single bed where ideally we would have had a setee but otherwise highly recommended. The hardness/softness of the mattresses are obviously down to personal choice and they can't provide for everyone's like and dislikes but they are VERY hard. The town (Ribcev Laz) is VERY quiet at night. Quite coll w

the apartment was extremely clean and well equipped! we had parking which was great, you are situated in the most perfect place directly beside shops, restaurants, bars and the lake! however, it is extremely peaceful and quiet! everything is at your doorstep, bed were comfy and shower was lovely, cannot fault this place!

Everything! The owner was very friendly and accomadating, helping us with any requests that we had. The apartment was so nice and clean as well as cosy in the evenings. Very quiet and situated in a lovely small little village. The 9.5 score in reviews is more than deserved! Would stay there again and reccomend! -

The staff were very friendly, the hotel is located in a town but equally you feel like you are in the countryside as there is a small dairy farm a few doors down. It is an ideal location to travel to lake Bohinj and the sights in the area. The local cheese and milk are delicious. -
Very friendly staff! You can hire bikes!
