The B&B style house meant that we could use their full kitchen (with
every utensil & servingware & appliance that our home has) to
prepare a bbq dinner and breakfast the next morning. There are bikes
& scooters to borrow, so we went on a family ride to the nearby

The Millhouse is a beautifully renovated 300 year old flour mill. It's in an excellent location in a tiny village close to Bled. Paul and Dorthe are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely peaceful garden, which has a small waterfall and river running through it. The room was fantastic pretty much a small apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were the only people staying and we were a little nervous about eating an evening meal there thinking it might not be that good and a tad awkward. We had no cause for concern; the food was excellent and the service perfect. Heartily recommend staying here and I would stay here again. The hosts Ivo & Vesna went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Even doing our washing for the five of us. Their Slovenian hospitality is amazing. The house is impeccably clean with everything you could hope to find in an accommodation. Highly recommended accommodation in a region of Slovenia that makes you feel like you're living in a fairy tale.

Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and comfortable room, wifi internet working good. It is not exactly close to the Bled lake, so if you don't have a car beware, for us it was rather a plus as it was very quiet on the farm. The breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in three hotels during our stay in Bled and this one was the best and the cheapest. -

Upon arrival, we had been upgraded to the top floor appartment with wooden ceiling. Everything was nice in this villa, the staff was very kind, our appartment spacious, clean, nicely furnished and had everything in it. The small terrace was cute, and view on the mountains was beautiful. We loved every second. Breakfast was small but fresh, and I have had the best coffee here!

we loved everything! Bled was a last min add on to our trip, so we only had one day there, how we wish we had more time! It could be a bit challenging to find the place, but that happened to almost every hotel and B&B we stayed in the trip across Slovenia, Italy and Croatia, so we were kind of used to it.
