We stayed there five nights and I can say that the hotel reaches most of
the guest expectations: good and quiet location (very closed to Orchard
street that is the shopping heaven), bathroom amenities, quality bed
linen and towels, services, friendly and smiling staff, free wi-fi, good
tv channels selection...the last channel, 34 if I remember, is

the hotel!!! I observed that the services are the same with an execut -
- The service of the staff at Quincy is excellent! They greeted us with
a smile every time we walk passed them. My boyfriend actually
misplaced his wallet near the front desk. We received a call in our
room and was told that a cleaner picked up his wallet (when he
didn't even realize)!
- It is definitely value-for-money when hotel provided full board meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) plus free flow of drinks from 6pm to 8pm. There's complimentary mini bar in the room too!

We were upgraded from a Club Room (Tower Wing) to a Deluxe Room in the Valley Wing. The warm welcome, ambience, space & well appointed room, free flow of drinks in the lobby, sumptious breakfast plus the attentiveness of the their well-trained staff all served to give us an unforgettable first-time experience at Shangri-la Singapore. -

We were upgraded to the Valley Wing Club floor for a moderate price increase which was well worth it. Breakfast was included and served in lovely lounge. Pre dinner cocktails also included, & staff remembered our preferences.

The staff from the doorman to the receptionist and housekeeping were polite, efficient and professional. They made our stay a very pleasant one.
There were two main things we were very happy about:
1) We were grateful to have been informed that my husband had left his wallet behind when we checked out.
2) The surprise birthday cake which was del

Hotel itself is a cosy luxury heritage property. Rooms were large, quiet, well-appointed and spacious. We got nothing but excellent service from the staff. A mention of our 20th anniversary at booking had the manager send up a complimentary cake and card! The Scotts / Orchard Road location is ideal for tourists. The grounds and outdoor pools are great for passing a balmy afternoon.

I liked the location, tucked in behind Robinson's Center Point and the lovely Cuppage restaurant area in restored shop houses. The personnel were friendly and polite. The room was clean and quiet and I was able to adjust the temperature to my liking which is sometimes difficult to do in hotels -- in my case usually rooms are too cold. The pool area

If you want to stay in a hotel in a quiet area but still close to shoping and other activities such as walking in the botanical garden, access to the waterfront then Trader such a hotel. The breakfast buffet on the first floor was excellent with American styled breakfast to Asian breakfast foods. The fitness center is clean and can be accessed any time of day by just asking the front desk staff (between 10pm- 6am). The location was also ideal for business meetings. It is also off of Orchard Road, which allowed for a quieter sleep at night. I would stay here again.

I had surgery at Mt. Elizabeth and was told by Doctors after release from the hospital I would need to stay in Singapore untill post operation appointment, knowing I would be on my own I could not think of better place than the 15th floor with the Royal Lounge and wonderful staff just down the hall. ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » urgery residing on your 15th floor. Thanks to all - Singapore is very expensive, so the price on this hotel was reasonable considering it is as the top of the five star scale. Extremely clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! The breakfast buffet is expensive, but well worth it for its freshness and number of choices. All you have to say is the name of the hotel, and all taxi drivers know exactly where to take you!

accessibility and courteous staff. i also like their privacy system wherein your room key can only access your floor thus discouraging other people or non-hotel guest from going up - hotel under construction until november. hotel upgraded us to a beautiful room on a high floor to avoid any noise. staff was very helpful. breakfast buffet was good.

The location of the hotel is very stategic, very near to shopping complexes and public transport( underground train station). Nice room, very comfortable but a little bit expensive. - very central for what we needed

At first I have booked the weekend package and requested a smoking room.
Since the hotel practices strict policy on non smoking in their hotel
rooms we were suggested the pool terrace room which has its own balcony
and facing plus direct access to the pool. We loved the room. We will
definitely stay in the pool terrace floor again. -

Very friendly, executive room including drinks during the day which were appreciated after a day exploring in the heat . Evening cocktails and canapés 6-8.30 were excellent too. It was my boyfriends birthday and they provided a cake with candles in the room. -

The rooms are very spacious, clean and equipped with the needed appliances. its value for money and would highly recommend it to others. Location is the best right on Orchard road where all shopping centers around.
