This was one of the highlights of our Trip around Norway. Relaxed hospitality as it should be. Excellent local produce, no choice and yet the meal was enjoyed by all 12 dinner guests. Hikers are encouraged to make their packed lunch from the breakfast buffet. Beautiful bright and clean rooms in a charming set of farm buildings. Fiords, waterfalls

The Gentleman that runs this hotel deserves a great deal of credit. The rooms are modern comfortable and well maintained.

WE loved the surroundings which were scrubby and the mountains nearby. The cabin was large and very well equipped and in excellent condition - many kitchen appliances which worked well, warm enough for us who live in the tropics. The owner was also helpful and patiently answered our queries on checking in. -

The best thing was the room, we liked everything: the bed, the bed-linen, the bathroom, the design. The food was very delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is featured by the ferry terminal to cross the fjord. -

drive to Geiranger for the day to sight see.....we were there in late
March so it was actually a 2 hr journey to get there because the road
was closed the short way round, but was the most scenic drive ever and

I liked the whole cabin. it was very well equipped, from the sauna to dish-washer. I also liked the privacy, it was as if we owned the whole area with the beautiful mountain and lake backdrop. Lastly, this was the first cabin, cottage that allowed me to row a boat! Wifi was also working fine.

The view of this hotel is very good, a great lake view. We rent an apartment, it's spacious. The small balcony is good for chat and drinks to view such a great lake.
It's easy accessible to the main pier and the supermarket nearby. Flåm is a small town, we stayed for 3D2N, one day we took bus to Aurland for hiking, it's convenient. There are some

The view from our deck was amazing, probably better than the view from the hotels that are nearer to the reail station and port. The room was pretty big, and had all the facilities needed to cook and eat. For those who do not cook, there is a bar/restaurant on the basement that offers basic meals at fair prices.

Beautiful main lodge with a lovely restaurant and wrap-around porch. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the small cabins with no bathroom and it was clean and warm with a kitchenette and sink. The setting was beautiful with the surrounding mountains. The price was excellent. -

The position, just on the small port of Kalvag with a beautiful view on the sea. The rooms were both spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast, served in the restaraunt (wich is quite elegant inside), was good and abundant. We had even diner at the restaurant: not cheap but the food was good; tasty even the beer locally brewed. Flam is a very beautiful place at the bottom of a fjord, and shouldn't be missed. The hotel is 2 minutes from the train overlooking the fjord. Staff were outstanding, very friendly, welcoming and offering advice on walks in the local area. Facilities were very good. It was winter so not many tourists-which we loved! This hotel is located in a beautiful spot, a very short walk to the Flam train station and the Gutvagen ferry dock, and next door to Flam's excellent microbrewery/restaurant. Our room was large, bright, had a really nice view from room and balcony, a very comfortable bed, and good reading lights. Staff was friendly and helpful.
