I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Free wifi, code from reception. Did consider going into Geiranger for dinner but so glad we had a look at the 275 nok per

Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

What a wonderful place. Gorgeous views, amazing room (with fjord view), great breakfast, all was excelent. One of my best experiences in Hotels in Norway. It is best if you have a car to get all the way up there, though. Or maybe catch the bus? Don't know.
I even got to experience snow in the afternoon and clear sunny day the next morning.

One of our room (no. 313) does commend a spectacular view of Geirangerfjord and is really spacious, though the bathroom is tiny. Overall, it's pricy, but the stunning view might be priceless, so it's worthwhile to stay overnight.

The location was ideal. We had a picture perfect view of one of the most beautiful sights in the world. We watched the sun go down over the fjord in utter amazement that we are experiencing such beauty. The hotel was VERY relaxing and pleasurable. -

This pretty hotel situated on a beautiful landscape, close to Geiranger. The weather changes fast, and even there is a light shower, the fjords are spectacular. Staff are very helpful and freindly and arrangements on arrival etc and departure very easy with keys left out if arriving late. Good choose of food at breakfast.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Centrally located in the city - easy access to the quayside and town.
Rooms are excellent. Some of the ones on the top floor have a good view over the fjord.
Good library for the avid reader - including English books, a rarity in Norwegian hotels.

This hotel is very close to airport and far from the main town. The BEST part is they provide shuttle to the airport (AT ANY TIME!!)
Pleople are very nice!! The service is the BEST!!! i give 5 starts out of 5!!
