The unique & individual private chalets, with own decks. The owner was very helpful & it was dog friendly, so I was able to have my sick GSD pup in his crate in the roomy chalet. Very peaceful despite being close to main road, & it was easy to find my way there. It was also close to the main road back to Blenheim. I find driving arround unfamiliar places both tiring & stressful, so it was a relief not to have to worry about getting home again.

Great location & new cottages with massive TV & king size bed. Very comfortable indeed. The owner is a friendly man, who was very welcoming even when we checked in late. You can park right outside your room which provided great convenience. The room came with a fully equipped kitchen too. an extremely friendly host that went out of his way to make us feel at home, will definately be staying there again. :). Owner was very courteous and heplful. Rooms was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Should be a chain of them in NZ. Very helpful and friendly. We would recommend Cranford lodge to family and friends. Well impressed. The price was good, staff friendly and very help full, and in a good location. The manager is very friendly, units are very modern and comfortable. How lovely the staff were and how beautiful and clean it was. Very nice and helpful people. The room was perfect too. Warm and close to city centre. Location and size of room. Location. New kitchen. Would be better with the bathroom done as well. It was clean. There had been a Smoker in there previously so the stale tobacco fumes were not good, however open windows & airfreshener did improve it. The shower / bathroom set up is a bit odd. The shower screen doesnt stop the water going all over the floor so its messy. Could do with a couple of spare towels or mop to dry the bathroom floor with. The bathroom was a little dark and the heater took a while to work. Only small improvement would be shower cubicle instead of cutain, but for value ofr money this was minor point. Nothing. Noisy heater. Sofa not comfortable. Had to sit on the bed. Also someone parked in our car park which for me is very inconvenient as I am in a wheelchair. Pillows were thin, no sparepillow. Towels not changedand i was there for3 nights. People in next room used spa till 3am and were drinking and loud.
