I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in
Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and
spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice
shower, toilet and kitchen. Air conditioning and heating facilities

need to use any of them. For breakfast, we were left all the necessary

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

The central location was excellent, close to most attractions, the train
station and bus/tram stations. Room and other facilities throughout
the boat are clean and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful though nothing
fancy. Staff Christian is excellent, friendly and always helpful. They
also provided timely reply to my pre-trip emails seeking information

It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting! Also if you arrive early in the morning it is given you breakfast to go.

We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :)
Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expected on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot.
And the prices are pretty cheap, even the

Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close.
Dave and Annie are also extremely helpful and nice, showed us the Best places to go to, where to eat,

Brilliant location, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Food and drink excellent and very reasonably priced. Comfortable, very clean and well looked after.The Avanti was a pleasure to stay on.
Our hosts went out of their way to provide help, information and warmth to us, and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. The ship is very well kitted out, and anything you might need has already been thought of, and is easy to access. A lovely place to chill, with a homely atmosph

The location was the best thing about this hotel - it is right next to the red light district - which is pretty central to everywhere in Amsterdam - all the places we wanted to visit were at most a 20 minute walk away, therefore public transport was not needed. We had booked a small double - which was definitely small, however for our 3 night stay, this was perfect for us.
