Very friendly staff, location was perfect, located right off the Dam behind the royal palace. Very clean. You get your room key and a key to the front door so you don't have to worry if someone is at the desk....you can let yourself in, anytime! - The location is great and the staff were very helpful. Hotel Pax is a cute, clean place to stay for a few nights, and the location is absolutely superb. It's right on a major street between Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Lots to see and do, all within walking distance. From Central Station, it was only 2 short tram stops, then a 4 minute walk at most. (Trams are easily accessible from Dam Square).

Situated in an amazing area, so beautiful, gave me a different outlook on Amsterdam. Surrounded by everything you need. Bars, clubs, cafe's, restaurants and even the drop of point for tourists is just a 2minuit walk away. You can return to your hotel at any time through the night into the morning. The host was great, he helped us with our bags and was really friendly. We actually had some changes to our room arrangements but we managed to come to an agreement regarding the payment so we appreciated the flexibility.
