My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower.
The building is well-maintained and characterful, with a very relaxed feel, and the staff are helpful and speak good English.

The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers.
The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.
There's a rooftop terrace with seats where you can read or relax in the sun.

The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood.
That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool.

We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my
luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we
took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes,
helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help.
The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights
easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.

Spotlessy clean, comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff.
We were near the front door and asked to be moved to a quieter location. No problem and upgraded us immediately to a suite and moved all of our baggage.

This was the perfect place to stay in our time in chefchaouen. The Riad offers all the peace and tranquility we wanted once we had had our fill of being busy around the city. The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. it is such a beautiful place to stay, the lovely owner has taken such care to make every detail beautifully uniqur. i like that the rooms are all individually designed. its a nice quiet place to stay, and in such a great location buried inside the old medina. the roof is a lovely place to go, and if we had more time, i would have definitely taken

If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and people then this is for you. Right in the middle of the Medina, fabulous for shopping for ornaments, throws/blankets, cooking tagines, etc. People very friendly, but you have to barter and be prepared to say "no". If you are looking to buy something in particular, ask Rachid at the hotel; he was very helpful and actually took us shopping. Gilles, the owner very welcoming too. Would definitely go back.
