This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu

The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying.
The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it.

I found moon trees to be an excellent value for money alternative to
hotel stays. Owner ,Dickie was extremely helpful and congenial ,as
well as making supberb coffee. Guesthouse has a wonderful homely vibe
and is in a great location in the heart of the heritage area of
George Town. Building is an authentic Chinese shop front and retains
its old town appeal with basic fittings and amenities but everything
works and is clean and tidy. Would recommend guesthouse to solo
travellers or couples.

This is my first time to try out a home stay backpackers, and I got to say, it's a great experience.. I love the name flash back, you will find two friendly receptionists, you can ask them any questions, they are both very happy to help.. Rooms are very clean and with air conditioner, you got to love the big shower too. Furthermore, they have got cafe as well, their iced coffee is a must try, is a secret recipe, don't forget to check out their fried ice cream.. I will definitely go back to that

My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. Both staff and the place itself kept me cheerful trough my stay. I felt very homie. 100 Cintra is full of charisma in avery possible way! You can sense the history every where. There was plenty of locations to hide and read, work or just relax (house is full of secret spots :) -

When I check in early, the hotel provides a suitable waiting area for our children to play and surf the internet. Accessibility - After a long drives from KL, it was nice to find a nice place that allows me the accessibility to both the Penang island and Seberang Perai. It's a nice location. -
