Located next to Toji Temple, Guesthouse Kotoya Toji is a Japanese-style townhouse in the heart of Kyoto. It offers a kitchen, free WiFi and laundry facilities. The living room comes with a low table and a flat-screen TV, and guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. The kitchen includes a cooking stove, coffee machine and dining area, while the bathroom comes with toiletries and a bathtub. There is no restaurant on site; however, there is a sushi restaurant is right next door.

For all reservations, guests must pay in advance by credit card via Paypal. The hotel will send an e-mail with a Paypal link and the guest must click the link and complete payment by credit card within 7 days after the email is sent. In case of a refund, the payment is refunded via Paypal. The total price of the booking will be charged at least 14 days prior to arrival. If guests cancel the booking, the charged fee will be refunded in accordance with the property's cancellation policy. Children over the age of 12 are charged an adult rate.
