  The location was fantastic. Quiet location away from the hustle but very quick and wasy walk. The hotel is much more attractive than the photos show.   I was pleased with this hotel in every way! The price was more than I wanted to pay but, realizing lodging in Venice is expensive, I left feeling quite satisfied with my stay there.   We stayed at casa sain't andrea a day before our cruise. Location is perfect, only few minutes walk from P. roma to our hotel and like walking around a building where we catch our shuttle, people's mover to our cruise ship. Vaporetto or water taxi is just outside the hotel. A grocery is close by where we bought our bottled water and food supply. We chose to walk via academia to rialto and P. mar - Coming from the airport by bus around 9pm, this hotel was close to the drop off point which was useful with roller suitcases. We were greeted by a friendly man who made us welcome and up-graded our room to one that overlooked the canal. It was great waking up to the canal boats going about their business, after we had enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep.
