The rooms were all beautiful and we saw 3 rooms and were allowed to choose. Clean and warm, lovely hot water. Right near to the waterbus stop. The staff were wonderful! Always friendly and couldnt do enough to oblige. The hotel was recommended to us and we have in turn recommended it to others. We even showed our literature we had to the pilot of our aeroplane coming home who was looking for a nice hotel for his daughter ti stay!

We liked the manager Elisabeth/?/- helpful, speaking good English. The rest of staff was less efficient. The atmosphere and the staff were warm and friendly. We felt welcomed and really taken care of. I use to work in the same business and I can tell that people make a huge difference. We had a great time, so thank you Hotel Villa Rosa. Great job and we may sometimes come back. -

The location was great only a short walk from the pizzale Roma where we got the bus to and from the airport. Also just a short walk into the main attractions grand canal, st marks square. The staff were really helpful and friendly and were even sympathic when we did t arrive till late on the Monday night due to a delayed flight. -

+location - near the bridge Realto in San Marco district. Very nice location for seeing Venice. 2 minutes from Grand Canal if you arrive on vapporetto, there is an excess to the canal near the hotel entrance (30 metres) if you arrive by water taxi.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked well and room size was very good. The breakfast was good supplying ham, cheese, and sweet breads. Canned fruit and yogurt were also available. Overall we were quite satisfied with Hotel Bartolomeo. The location was very good. Close to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square.
