This place is a true Tuscanian gem! Besides being very welcoming and helpful, Luciano and his wife made us feel at home in an instant. Our room was impeccable every day. Sitting at the pool and watching the sun setting behind the midieval towers of San Giminiano, surrounded by the smell of lavender is a breathtaking experience. - The most beautiful

We loved Vecchio Asilo! Proprietors were so hospitable, served a

Great accommodation in the Tuscan hills. Views out of across manicured gardens and pool to vinyards and olive groves in rolling hills. Can easily see the impressive hillside town of San Gimignano. We hired a vespa with Mauros help and had a fantastic time riding around the tuscan countryside and small medieval towns. -

The hotel is very well kept, clean and with a very warm and kind staff. Once this hotel was a mill and you can still see reference to it around the hotel. I would advise it to everyone!

One of the friendliest owner I ever met. Christiano is so friendly and he made our short stay so memorable. The best breakfast and coffee I enjoyed in Italy was right here, from Christiano. Beautiful building and grounds. We stayed in the apartment, with 2 bedrooms and baths, which was great for a family of 5. A/C worked well, and we had a fully functional kitchen.
Pool is clean and modern, could have used more shade near it.
The staff was delightful, expecially the main clerk Christiano who went out of his way to accommodate us.
There is a very nice restaurant a few hundred meters up the road.
The room was stocked with very good and affordable local wine.

The setting here is amazing. Close enough to walk into town but far enough away that the peace and quiet is amazing. The view out of the lounge window was like a painting. Stunning. The apartment we stayed at was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and functional, and everything was very clean.
The view is great, and the big lawn in front of the house is also very relaxing.
The location was great for day trips around Tuscana.
Marianna and the staff were attentive and helpful.

The staff were amazing (Paola and Mario especially. The location to San Gimgnano was great. Rooms were lovely, Gastro-restaurant was fantastic. Service of rooms great. Can't say a bad thing about this venue. Looking forward to visiting again.

I fall in love with Toscany the moment that I touch the city. A farm
house is not too far from San Gimignano tower (4-5 km).
They located at the best location in San Gimignano. You can see San Gimignano view from the pool side and your room.
The ownwer also very warm and hospitality, they provided a great breakfast and full course dinner.

Fantastic stay! 15Th century building expertly redone to modern
standards that retains all of its charm. Don't make the same
mistake I did, reserve dinner in advance, all of the food is homemade.
Dinner smelled delicious, but we had a picnic with food bought at the
local market and enjoyed the truly spectacular view, with a bottle of
wine from their vineyard that was fantastic. Great pool. Breakfast
included delicious homemade jams. Truly a great place to stay for just
a night or a month.
