Beautiful hotel right at the prettiest piazza in the town, with gorgeous rooms! I want to highly recommend you to stay at Sa Crannaccia. The rooms are very quiet and beatiful, with wood roofs. The food is incredible, all natural and made by Cecilia, the best ambassador ever, just like a grandma. We even asked her to show us the farm (that is no more than 2 km far from the house) and she took us there, and we saw their animals

we were very well taken care of by the hosts (cecilia and angelino)! liked the self made pasta, cookies and fresh fish grill a lot, and also local booze (made by angelino!) was good.
clean, friendly, delicious. oh, the oranges, apples and lemons from the garden also sweet and juicy.

As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful.
To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone

Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

The hotel was beautifully and conveniently situated for those who want to get away from it all, but still within a couple of miles from supermarkets, shops and restaurants. It was not in one of the main touristy areas, but with a car (essential here) you can easily drive to them.The rooms were lovely and clean and great air conditioning.

The general quality of the accommodation was excellent, the gardens beautifully maintained and the location between town and beach perfect. Breakfast was generally good but even though most of the guests clearly came through a UK tour company, local cheese instead of processed packets would have been appreciated. Most guests seemed to thin it was perfect.
