The start was at the arrival airport when Glenda collected us (husband, wife and 7 year old daughter) to the finish when Glenda returned us to the airport for departure.   La Limonera is a wonderful place to stay, centrally located in back streets of Bellagio overlooking the lake. The booking, arrival and departure were all seamless despite there only being limited office hours. Daniela was lovely and very helpful. We took a cab but it turned out to be walking distance and we walked back to the airport the next day (15-20 minute easy walk). Excellent hosts, charming, welcoming and helpful.   Great location close to a ferry stop. Quiet and beautiful views from the terrace. This is a great apartment with a house feel. Perfect for large families although we were just two couples so we had plenty of space to sprawl out. Loved the mounted cd player for a little music while we were relaxing on the balcony. The apt was a bit tricky to find but worth it. - flat was in excellent location overlooking Lake Como. Restaurants in close vicinity. Lake ferry close. Flat itself was modern with large balcony, veranda dining area and well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms suit upto 6 people. Flat was on side road away from main road traffic and noise.

  A warm welcome from both Romano and wife Barbara, plus very helpful emails/answers prior to our trip. Apartment we stayed in was sooooo lovely. 2 bedroom with balcony and patio overlooking mountains. Everything you need is provided for. Little mini market 5 min walk for milk, etc. only 5 min walk from Ferry, we took bus up from Lecco, quite the ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » trip, but there is a great train service up to Verenna, then ferry over to Bellagio. Leaving we took a bus down to Como and train from there to Milan - Location!! Situated within a 5 minute walk from the ferry pier, the location is spot on and so easy to find! Within a minute you are amongst the charming up and down streets of Bellagio. The town is small and everything accessible from this one apartment. The apartment is beautiful and makes the perfect base. The couple who own it are extremely helpful and give plenty of info on arrival!!Visit Villa Melzi on a sunny day...simply stunning! Bellagio is beautiful. I will be back!
