The man who works at the reception was very very helpful to us. Not only did he help carry up all of our luggage (which was alot for 3 people), he also assisted us to call our hire car company as we can't speak Italian. He continued to try to call and get through to them for the whole time we stayed over 2 days and also sent an email for us.

Given the price, the location of this hotel is incredible. It's a 10
minutes leisure walk through a nice old streets of Milan to the Milan
Cathedral. The possibilities for breakfast/dinner are great since
the hotel is in the center and few cafés are few minutes from the hotel.
(I personally recommend Happy Café). The personnel was very friendly,
knowledgeable and helpful. We received various valuable tips for our
stay at the city which we all used and liked. Also, the room was big,
comfortable

Fabulous! There is certainly magic at Rossosegnale, from the moment we
entered the front door. Everything had its rightful place in the house,
including the beautiful petite red lift. It was hard to imagine the
place as a messy garage in its previous life. Congratulations to Raoul
and Alberto for turning their vision into reality. We thoroughly enjoyed

Instead of staying in a branded hotel in Milan city we chose this time to stay a little (about 30 KM) away from the city and found this small cosy little hotel situated a stone's throw from the magnificent ancient Monastry of Certosa di Pavia . Family-managed hotel is about 1 km off the famous Certosa di Pavia - a real diamond in the European architectural treasury. I could see it just from the front yard, some rooms have this view. Restaurant-pizzeria has wood oven, food is simple, inexpensive and very tasty (I tried mussels, pizza, caprese –all was perfect). Locals reserve tables. Very easy to get (by car) to Milan (20-30 min), but try to avoid “tangenziale”. Would stay again.

We had a pleasant stay at Prenditempo. The room & bath were spacious
& clean, sweet breakfast was served (italian pastries, cereals,
coffee, ..), the staff was polite & helpful with everything
including storing our luggage for a couple of hours after the check out.
Prenditempo is located in a quite zone, a 10-15 minutes walk from the
railway station. Definitely recommend this B&B to fellow travelers.
Stayed may 2013, travelled with a friend.
