The B&B is tucked away. The large rooms are clean and provide all the facilities. Maria, Claudia and Roberto are very helpful hosts - who are keen to make your stay and any local visits to the archeological sites as perfect as possible. The B&B is less than ten minutes walk to the Naples/Sorrento train station and also 10 minutes from the main entrances to historic Pompeii. The main shopping centre of Pompeii is a 15-20 minute stroll and has many restaurants.

The rooms smell new, clean as a pin, they are amazingly furnished with top notch fittings and furnishings. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very modern tasteful decor, huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Owners greeted us with tea and cakes on arrival. Lovely breakfast room and rooftop terrace. Breakfast is very nice. The location is easy walk to the station. It is a nice walk along the seaside promenade to the lovely old part of town, its wonderful church and old lanes. We only stayed at Il Vicolo Della Neve B&B one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! The location in Salerno was just perfect- in the heart of the historic district and right across the street from a fantastic restaurant serving traditional southern Italian cuisine. Everything, the room was excellent with a large veranda and excellent views. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, we will be going back in the future. -
I loved the hotel and the view is stunning! We even received a personal welcome greeting with a bottle of champagne!
