  Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. We also lucked out and were given a free - The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

  The family that ran the hotel were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The hotel itself is in a perfect position in Praiano, making the view breathtaking from our balcony. It was a 5* view! Our room was cleaned every day which I didn't expect but was very nice. We actually thought it was bette - Family-run hotel, with very friendly and attentive service. Well located in Praiano, which was a good choice of stay for visiting the whole Amalfi Coast. Parking is available, which is crucial here. Breakfast with good variety and tasty, on the terrace with lovely views.

  The hotel was superb with the staff being very freindly , the location and views were stunning ! - We really liked the location,it was an easy 7-10 minute to Piazza Tasso, but far enough away to have a great view of the bay and be peaceful at night.We also walked to the Circumvesuviana Station(15-18 min.) regularly for our trips to Pompeii and Posi... τι λέει ο κόσμος » tano/Amalfi/Ravello.We would definitely stay there again for the great vistas(we had a very nice, large balcony) and the location.

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

  Absolutely everything!! The hotel is so bright and crisp. The bathroom was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities; slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a home was already there. The location was perfect as we had tickets to the opera, not realizing the hotel was just around the corner. I would recommend t - In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro. Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time. ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

  We had a large room with private balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel has many pools and activities, even a free kayak for guests. Room was very quiet with only the sound of waves at night.
