Everything - we visited the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The scenery and location was perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay ; the local food and wine were excellent. The best endorsement for the hotel is to say that we intend to return next year ; am looking forward to it already.

Don't let the entrance fool you. Once you go upstairs and see the rooms you will be happily surprised. The rooms are neat and tidy and spacious. Salvatore, the owner, is such a friendly guy. He is very helpfull and will point you in the right directions you need to go to. The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends. It is an extraordinary property. Much of the original architecture still exists which makes it a very unique place. The location and view are unbelievable, the rooftop pool and garden are gorgeous, and the food is excellent.
