  A good position, close to the railway station but in an area of Venice which I know well and which is not particularly touristy. The staff were friendly and the room and bathroom very clean.   This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by.   We had a beautiful room overlooking the Rialto Bridge and main canal in Venice. We were able to see the gondolas go by and the room was super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly as well. - Nice hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, good excellent location.

  We really enjoyed our long weekend at de l'Alboro. Great location as we were close to the vaporetti stops, not far from San Marco and not at all noisy. The staff were very helpful and gave our young children little gifts (and hot chocolate!). The breakfast buffet had a good choice and we felt very welcome.
