First, I liked the location of the hotel, an easy walk to the Altstadt, Schloss and city center with tram line two blocks away. Second, the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.
The price was one of the best I have obtained in Heidelberg recently. -

The hotel was perfect. The positive greeting we received when we arrived started the whole weekend with an excellent indication of what was to come. The first impression of the hotel is that it is away from the centre but we found it to be a perfect distance and facilitated a beautiful walk across the bridge into the old town. I'd like to say a lot

The staff were brilliant and their English was superb, unlike our German!
We stayed for dinner at the hotel twice of our four nights and it was excellent, we ate the same meal both nights! The service was also excellent.
We also had breakfast one morning which was good and again the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble..

I was alone after a business trip and it was everything I wanted and more. The service is tip top. They speak English and will help you with anything. The style is Ultra Modern - great for a luxury stay, though moderately priced. Location is great - it's a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Alt Stadt.

Neat Hotel, clean, kind reception, the receptionist carried my GF's bag. The breakfast is above average.
The restaurant need to be reserved in advance (which is a good sign!). We have been happy of this hotel and will come back again in case we decide to pay another visit to Heidelberg.

Brilliant!! We traveled to Heidelberg with our 13 year old son to experience a traditional Christmas Market. The location of the hotel was amazing. It was a bit of a walk from the train station, but absolutely perfect for shopping, eating, and sightseeing. We didn't have many encounters with staff, but the few we saw were friendly. The hotel was in a great location. On a side street, close to shops, restaurants etc.but quieter at night than many city hotels. Easy to find if you arrive by car.
The decor was charming and immaculate. The young woman who escorted us to our rooms could not have been more helpful!
