This hotel is a real gem! Excellent location for wandering the streets of the old town and visiting the castle.It is beautifully decorated and furnished - a real oasis of tranquility after a day's sight-seeing. Great breakfast buffet and room was nicely appointed. The hotel was located within the city walls and within easy walking distance of all of the major points of interest.

I think this hotel is a little over priced but it was a great stay and no complaints what so ever. The staff were helpful and very polite. The room was ordinary but comfortable. We had excellent service from the friendly staff at ISG. They also had washing facilities which was very handy after a week or so on the road.

First, I liked the location of the hotel, an easy walk to the Altstadt, Schloss and city center with tram line two blocks away. Second, the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.

Been a long time since we stay at a Ibis Hotel. Last time was in 2007. Glad to know that they still are a familiar place. You know what you´ll get when you book a Ibis Hotel. And glad to know that they have improved. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Good shower and room decoration was better than we remember.

it's a budget hotel in Heidelberg which located next by Train Station. it's far away from old town, you better take city tram or bus or drive to there. have free parking but not enough parking space in front of the hotel. it's hard to find the 2nd parking area, you better ask you travel buddy to go to check-in first and get the instruction with map for getting to 2nd parking area.
