Le Moulin des Landes managed to fulfill all of my husband and I's
expectations for a getaway in the French countryside--not an easy task
considering I'm American, he's French, and we live in New York.
The staff is warm but not intrusive. Breakfast is delicious and farm
fresh (homemade yogurt!). The air is fresh and sweet with the scent of
flowers. The house is as picturesque as the France you see in movies.
There's a small swimming pool for warm days. It's quiet and television-

Friendly, efficient owner (Forence) who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Beautiful building with clean, sympathetically decorated bedroom room/en suite. Swimming pool with seating area;sun loungers and bathing towels provided. Delicious breakfast. Sightseeing/good restaurants nearby.
We liked the sound of the rooster in the morning, but perhaps others
won'T.
shower cubicle would be preferable.
