  Hotel Les Rives de Notre-Dame is ideally placed and we had views of Notre-Dame and the Seine from our room. The hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and the staff are most friendly, helpful and courteous. The breakfast room in the original cellar is a real treat.   I have aspired to stay in this hotel since I first visited Paris as a student and could not afford it...I Was not DISSAPOINTED,as follows... Lovely staff. Child Friendly. Excellent Location. Honesty Bar and 24 hour service (we did not use it but nice to know it's there). Calm atmosphere... Oasis in the middle of mad Paris ! Garden Suite... The location is perfect for those who like to wander the Left Bank. The room was a "Paris size", but that is Paris, No? The room was very quiet even though overlooking the street. Very comfortable bed. Lot's of good, non-tourist dining available within a true 5 minute stroll, including a very nice Jaques Cagna restaurant right across the street and 5 minutes from a Grom gelateria. You can spend more but you really won't get more.

  Although the room was smallish (perhaps not by Parisian standards), itwas immaculate and beautifully maintained. The staff were unfailinglyhelpful and polite. The public areas on the ground floor were accessibleand tastefully decorated and provided the full range of services onemight want.   I thought everything was exceptional! It was the size hotel that appeals to my taste. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and most convenient to our daily activities. I might add that the breakfast was absolutely delicious, as well. The staff could not have been more helpful and congenial. We had an extra person join us in the room, they were able to give us a suite, they got us reservations for a show that was booked when we tried to call etc. The breakfast that is included was great!! The staff was incredible and more along the lines of what I wuld expect from a 5 star hotel. The gentleman who works during the evenings got us an unforgetable dinner after 9 pm on Valentines Day. Then he was more then willing to make some phone calls in order to make sure we could get into an excellent night club.
