Great location in walking distance of Old Lyon. Friendly staff. I received a room on the first floor without a view but was still impressed at the taste and elegance of the room.Wifi price was reasonable. Car parking at your door, friendly and helpful staff, ok breakfast,
spacious rooms - we were upgraded to a suite so had view of river and
large apartment - it was great; best place for walking to everything and
being right in the middle of local Lyon and the people. Large chain 5
star hotels on business district side and way out of the real Lyon.

of washing machines a bonus. This residence offered everything we needed
and staff accommodated all our requests. -
Excellent location in Lyon, close to the city and to historical sites. We found the staff to be very professional and helpful and the facilities excellent. Breakfast was good value. Having a small kitchen allowed us to prepare food in our studio rather than always going out to eat. And since we are on the road for a few months, we also appreciated the laundry facilities.

Unusually good dinner in the hotel dining room. Very comfortable bed and a quiet, spacious room. - everything: atmosphere, conforrt, courtesy of staff, room, bathroom, etc..

This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon.
Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to
prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in
the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping
centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one
tram stop away

station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was
however quiet at night. -
The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.

The hotel is excellent, the rooms were big, very clean, looked new and
had a very nice bathroom (and even a decent size refrigerator). Our room
had a flat-screen tv that was ok (maybe a bit small) but since we barely
used it, it did not bother us. The hotel has free Wifi both in the room
and in the lobby with speed that was more than adequate for

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most (all?) of the staff spoke
English and had good knowledge of the main sights. There was a Metr -
The Lodge opened for business a few months ago. The layout and the available facilities are all well planned and thought through. Though not flashy, everything one needs are there and functional. The staffs are excellent, courteous and most helpful in every aspect. There are ample free parking on the street next to the Lodge. I will definitely recommend the lodge to anyone so does not want to pay for the extra pampering of a five star hotel and yet. Great value for money!
