The 'normal room rate' would greatly change my review, but when there are rooms available for around 40 euros a night, the value, location and quality is second to none.   We LOVED the reception rooms, smell of sandalwood and warm welcome upon entering the hotel. The sitting room with fireplace, and dining room are just lovely.   Wow, what a hotel! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Thehotel, including the garden, was very clean and tidy. Nice and quiettoo, no noise. The receptionists were especially obliging and well-mannered. It was slightly annoying that we were woken at 9am each day, by a drill being used upstairs and had not hot water on one day - but to be fair we knew all of this in advance so did not complain.   I loved everything about our stay at the hotel. The hotel was very clean and well organised.
