  Reception was very friendly and extremely helpful. All queries - also tourist information - were attended to very well. Facilities are very clean. Space is limited in the room, but did not bother. Location is the best you can ask for. Busses are on the doorstep and can take you in any direction. The Gare l'Est station is also next door.   After reading some reviews, I was a bit sceptical about this hotel. But after staying there for 3 nights, I should say I did enjoy my stay here. Simple, no frills hotel.   The staff was very helpful and accommidating. They allowed us to store our luggage in the hotel before check in time on our day of arrival, and on the day of departure they allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out. This allowed us to see more of Paris without dragging our luggage everwhere!   Helpful staff - This room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, basic but fully functional furniture, excellent location. A very old building and my room had character. Plenty of lighting and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel was open 24hrs a day. It looked very attractive from the outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
