  Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. Also, the staff was incredibly charming, funny and good-natured. - intriguing, almospheric interior. great location, easy to get to to tourist destinations, but close to the marais for socialising. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

  Very quiet for Paris! But I was in one of the inside rooms. - The location was excellent as it was within walking distance to many of the main sites. The room was exceptionally clean.

  I booked the Tonic because I liked that it appeared to be in a genuine Parisian style and wasn't disappointed, the rooms had a nice appearance and has retained some of the buildings original features. It even had its own courtyard off my ground floor room. The next morning they helped us tremendously with our car reservation ( which the car company could not find).
