The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. Excellent value at the Hotel Montmorency but great bonus to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Du Chateau. We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

Superb location and accommodation, the home made cakes for breakfast, plenty of advice given on what to see locally, flexibility and friendliness on booking in later than we'd planned, the free car parking very close by, we all had a lovely stay. Apartments are really good and very clean, Isabelle asks to keep them as they are.
Great castle view from 2rd floor, 2 bedrooms, easily suitable not only for 5-6, but for 8 persons to stay in comfort. Washing machine and electric dryer.
Great locals on the ground floor to help you, chat and drink wine.

Very quite as well with small local tabac and shops for the necessities.....fantastic croissants. Our "landlady" Isabel made us very welcome and was very helpful. We will be back.

Charming B&B just 1 km outside Carcassonne and perfect for visiting La Cite. Isolated position but all the facilities needed. Plenty of places to eat in old Carcassonne itself and not too far to walk to La Cite if you're feeling energetic. Excellent breakfast. Overall very good value. Would use again if in the area. -

We got lost on the way and arrived late but still got a warm, friendly reception. A map was provided and various places to visit pointed out. The apartment was extremely well equiped with everything one could want. The view of the old city was fantastic and we could walk there in 5 minutes. -
