  Stayed here with ourdog for a night on a driving holiday through Spain and France and it was fantastic.The chateau and grounds are wonderful and the owners are so welcoming, but discreet and leave you to it unless you want them. We wandered around the rooms of the chateau and for a day felt like it was our home. Elfie, was enormous and full of antique fu - Amazingly beautiful chateau! Our room was as big a city apartment. Downstairs are several giant gracious rooms for reading, games, playing the piano, and a romantic terrace. This is a place to unwind and relax, enjoy the countryside and the beauty of the house and enjoy quiet times in Buzancais. It's not very far from some chateaux to explore and a few wineries to go tasting as well. Florence, our hostess, was warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable.
